Here's ol' David, telling stories at "Rebecca's Coffee Shop" here in San Diego.
I believe this photo was snapped as I recited Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven."
At the event, I also told stories from Holy Ghosts, my recently released book about ghosts, hauntings, and the haunted college where I studied.
Find out about the book here!
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI found your BYO article on making Pulque and tried to give it a shot. Unfortunately I am new at homebrewing and I wasn't entirely clear on fermentation time. The article says that it varies but I wasn't sure if that meant it takes days, weeks, or even months.
Additionally, since I figured I wouldn't get the first batch right and didn't want to spend too much on money, I attempted to scale your recipe down. I ended up with:
4 Cups of Pulque:
8.6 tablespoons of raw agave nectar
.43 ml of White Labs Pure Pitch WLP001
3.4 cups of water.
I think my ratios are right but I am not sure if scaling things down would negatively impact it all. Any help would be much appreciated.
